Understanding your audio preparation options.

Vinyl Mastering

What is Vinyl Mastering?

Vinyl mastering is the process of preparing your audio so it translates beautifully to the analog medium. It balances EQ, dynamics, stereo width, and ensures your project meets the physical limitations of vinyl — all without sacrificing your original sound.

Vinyl Mastering Options

We offer two mastering paths — each with unique sonic qualities. Choose the approach that best fits your project.

Lacquer Cut

Our most commonly used mastering option. Lacquers are cut in real-time with pristine analog quality. Great for most independent releases.

Direct Metal Mastering (DMM)

Ideal for ultra-high fidelity needs. DMM cuts directly into metal for sharper grooves and less pre-echo — often preferred for classical or audiophile projects.
